VALOX PBT Granules for Quality Injection Moulding with Additional Benefits
VALOX resin granules are semi-crystalline grades of PBT, PET, and Polycarbonate (PC) blends. VALOX PBT granules offer the perfect blend of value-added properties required for a variety of industrial applications. These are manufactured by SABIC in line with RoHS, REACH-SVHC, POPs compliances. VALOX PBT granules are available in 62 grades. Dimensional stability, good weather resistance, excellent chemical resistance, high-quality surface finish, long-lasting gloss, etc are the key properties that make VALOX PBT granules a favorite choice of manufacturers of electronic spares, automotive spare parts, motor brushes, TV set accessories, electrical accessories, motor covers, etc.
Over time, these are fast emerging as cost-effective alternative to traditional materials. The leading channel partners of SABIC offer PBT granules in two categories - SABIC VALOX™ and SABIC® VALOX™ FR. Both are available in natural, black, and opaque colors as well with the option of custom-to-need colors. Great stiffness-to-weight ratio, excellent stain resistance, excellent machining, great electrical insulation properties, and higher impact resistance than PET, like properties encourage worldwide manufacturers to adopt PBT granules.
The general-purpose unreinforced VALOX 325F containing internal mold release is available in natural color only. VALOX 325FC, facilitating faster and economical cycle times is compliant with food contact regulations. VALOX 420 with excellent strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability is a good choice to manufacture appliance handles, connectors, spotlights, and electric motors. VALOX 420 HP is a 30% glass-filled PBT resin. VALOX resin DR51, good for mold temperature 40-100°C, is a 15% GR polyester grade of PBT granules; its mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties make it a good choice for manufacturing housings, handles, and appliance connectors.
